The heart is enclosed in a pericardial sac that is lined with the parietal layers of a serous membrane.

It carries blood from the intestines, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen and delivers it to the liver. It contains blood with nutrients and toxins after digestion.

The lymphatic system is an important part of the body's immune system.

Along with the heart and the blood, the blood vessels form the cardiovascular system. There are 3 main types of blood vessels: Arteries — carry blood pumped away from the heart to the organs.

It mainly comprises of:  Coagulants, mainly fibrinogen, aid in blood clotting .  Plasma proteins, such as albumin and globulin , that help maintain the colloidal osmotic pressure at about 25 mmH g.

This occurs so a person can absorb these molecules into the bloodstream. The process occurs in the mouth, stomach, and small intestine.
